In order to apply for At Home Abroad, you must complete the following items. Please fill out the Student Interest Form in order to start the process or if you have any additional questions.
I. Personal/Family Application An in-depth application covering all aspect of the student applying and their family is the first step. This application covers the student's current interests, habits, routines, etc. as to assist in matching students to prospective host families. II. School Transcripts III. English Test Scores Tests scores can come from either the TOEFL, ELTiS, or SLEP and will help identify what schools would be a good fit for each student. IV. Video Interview Each student will have an interview over a video platform to discuss application, get to know the student, and answer any questions that student might have. This interview will also include an introduction to the natural parents. IV. Letter of Recommendations Three letter of recommendations are required, including letters from an English, math, and science professor.
